Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. She has previously recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by the band Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Her name was also recognized from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding an instrument hidden in her attic, and being captivated by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as an income or as a pastime, but as an opportunity to develop. Her parents inspired her to write. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. Responding to her mother's advice that she shouldn't be trying to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather recognize the significance of their lives as well as their contribution to society. The piano was first played by her when she was just six and was writing her first song at the age of nine. It was unknown to her family until she turned fourteen. It was never a dream to be Aurora. The only thing she loves is to write music. According to her, she believes music can make any person feel better.
