Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name could be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two notable covers that she has recorded. Katy Perry's endorsement of the song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's acknowledgement. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano in the attic. She was fascinated by the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to pursue music for development of her own, not for the purpose of making money or for an interest. The singer began to write her own songs. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favourite songwriters. Her mother had told her the songs she wrote might not gain fame for her but instead to inspire people to realize the value of themselves and their impact on our world at large, she started performing them publicly. She started playing piano at age six and writing music at age nine. The family members didn't know about it until she turned 14. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. As she says, she loves writing music. Music to her is the most effective way to feel anything.
